CEDAR

Bridging Autism Resources Between Regions

CEDAR was established in 2022, originating as an idea in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Shortly thereafter, it was officially registered in Singapore—the home country of its founder. Following CEDAR's relocation to Dubai, it was also registered in the UAE, enabling the organisation to expand its reach and serve both the Middle East and Southeast Asia effectively.

Meet the Founder, Jelita Yusoff

Jelita Yusoff is a seasoned autism consultant and the founder of CEDAR. Since 2007, she has worked extensively with individuals on the autism spectrum—ranging from young children as young as three to teenagers and adults—providing employment coaching and a wide range of support services. Jelita has partnered with numerous organisations and schools across Singapore, Indonesia, and the Middle East, training teachers and therapists in best practices for autism support. Her vast experience spans special education schools, clinics, and consulting for specialised centres.

Specialised Training and Approaches

CEDAR takes pride in using evidence based approaches and strategies such as Positive Behaviour Support, Structured Teaching, Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), and Explicit Teaching.

A Growing Network

Although Jelita currently runs CEDAR independently, she partners with various service providers and autism experts to deliver comprehensive support. As CEDAR continues to grow, the aim is to hire more trained professionals who share a passion for working with the autism community.
